Abstract

Since its constitution during the 22nd annual meeting of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology in Rome in 1990, the Brain Tumor Subcommittee has worked to arrive at a consensus for reporting criteria that should be adopted when brain tumor trials are presented. This consensus is presented here concerning minimum requirements for diagnostic procedures and a systematic approach to define the extent of surgically achieved resection by a radiodiagnostic classification aided by the surgical report as well as response and remission criteria. © 1995 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
