In the article entitled "'Flowering of general topology in Japan" the author (Nagata. 1985) surveyed the history of general topology in Japan as it has developed since 1917. The present article, whose purpose is to survey recent developments in the last few years in more detail, may be regarded as a sequel to the previous article.
