β¦ Synopsis
The principles and applications of chromatographic separation of enantiomers in pharmaceutical analysis have been reviewed. Several examples of recently reported enantioselective analysis of various racemic drugs using both the 'indirect' and 'direct' methods have been presented.

A method is described for the HPLC analysis of oxamniquine enantiomers in liver fraction incubates, using a second-generation a,-acid glycoprotein-based column (Chiral-AGP). Oxamniquine is extracted from the incubation media by liquid-liquid extraction, using diethyl ether. The dried residue is redi
The operational parameters and factors which control the performance Ε½ . of capillary electrochromatography CEC using commercially available CEC instrumentation are evaluated and discussed. The CEC of neutral or ion-suppressed acidic analytes shows marked advantages such as increased column efficien
