## It is investigated if graphite as wall material in a gas-core reactor is compatible with a gas mixture consisting of UF, and carbon-fluorine compounds at high temperatures. A possibility for non-corrosive operation exists at temperatures ranging from 2000 to 2500 K at pressures of about 30atm,
