## Abstract 2โ€Arylโ€4โ€methoxyโ€9โ€oxocyclohepta[__b__]pyrylium perchlorates 1aโ€c reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and hydrazine sulfate in the presence of triethylamine to afford 2โ€arylโ€4,9โ€dihydrocyclohepta[__b__]pyranโ€4,9โ€dione 4โ€oximes 3aโ€c and 4โ€hydrazones 4aโ€c in good yields, respectively
