โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

A study has been made of the reaction rates of mixtures of hydrogen and nitrogen to form ammonia over a doubly promoted iron catalyst at 400ยฐ and 450ยฐC. and at pressures up to 1,000 atm. In this work particular care has been taken to obtain data representing the true kinetics of the reaction. The reactor used was essentially isothermal, and the effects of diffusion have been reduced to a minimum. The results have been correlated by the use of the mechanism proposed by Temkin and Pyschev (19) with moderate success.

## Abstract The reaction of trifluoromethyl radicals with ammonia in the gas phase has been studied in the temperature range 30โ€352ยฐ. Product formation is not explicable simply in terms of the reactions: and curvature of the Arrhenius plot at high and low temperatures suggests that there are addi

The transition probability win two symmetrical double-well potentials (Q'-2 1 Q 1 and Q"-2Q2 ) is found by the path-integral method for tunnelling symmetrically coupled with a g vibration (q 1 QI and gQZ for the above-mentioned potentials, respectively) for arbitrary values of the tunnelling time 7
