✦ Synopsis


The title method comprises mixing pulverized coal (average grain diameter <0.3 mm) with >10 wt% waste plastic powder, extruding to form pellets, and then carbonizing it at bottom section of a coke oven under controlled atmosphere. The coke products have a high drum index strength of >84.3 and stable quality.
