These investigations are very interesting for understanding reaction mechanisms of alkylbenzene. Vie wish to report here some evidence for the presence of p-propylbenzenium cations in the complex layer of a p-?rPh -AlClG -HCl system by means of I'Ez and IR spectroscopies.
