In the title compound, C~9~H~7~N~3~O~2~, the dihedral angle between the triazole and phenyl ring planes is 4.72β (6)Β°. In the crystal structure, classical inversion dimers arise from OβH...O hydrogen bonds between carboxylic acid groups.
The title compound, C 6 H 5 NO 2 , a tautomer of 2-hydroxynicotinic acid, adopts a planar conformation. An intramolecular O-HΓ Γ ΓO hydrogen bond of 2.504 (2) A Λis found. The compound forms one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded chains along the [101] direction via an intermolecular N-HΓ Γ ΓO hydrogen bon
