✦ Synopsis

Optical heterodyne scattering measurements are presented for concentrated solutions of unreticulated cis-polybutadicnc as a function of temperature. For a heptane volume fraction v, the second derivative of the free energy with respect to concentration varier approximately as u-z.9 (T-7,). where T, is the spinodal temperature.

Concentrated solutions of poly(vinyl acetate)/toluene and poly(dimethyl siloxane)/octane were investigated in the polymer volume fraction range 0.08 ~ Β’ ~< 0.5 using small angle X-ray scattering.
