✦ Synopsis

Rates and extents of crystallization of nylon 11 and nyloii 6/11 copolymers have been measured by dilatometry. As the amount of copolymerizatioii increased there was a decrease in the extent of crystallization and in the rates of crystallization for any degree of supercooling below the melt.

## Abstract The mechanical behavior of semicrystalline Nylon 11 was studied at strain rates between 10^βˆ’3^ and 8800 s^βˆ’1^. X‐ray diffraction and DSC were employed to examine the crystal structure and the crystallinity content. The as‐received material comprised a mixed structure of a predominately

Analysis of the isothermal, and nonisothermal crystallization kinetics of Nylon-11 is carried out using differential scanning calorimetry. The Avrami equation and that modified by Jeziorny can describe the primary stage of isothermal and nonisothermal crystallization of Nylon-11. In the isothermal c

Through differential scanning calorimetry, isothermal crystallization from the melt of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has been investigated. PTFE was regarded as one of the polymers for which crystallization is so rapid that the samples crystallize during the cooling from the melt to the selected cr
