✦ Synopsis

The rate constants of OY('As) with aliphatic alcohols, terpenes, unsaturated hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, oxygen, and diamines have been studied in the presence of NO,. The rate constants for oxygen, 1.2-ethane diamine, and 1,2-propane diamine are (9.9 ? 0.4) x lo2, (8.7 t 0.7) x lo4, and (1.4 -C 0.3) x 10' l/mol/s, respectively. The rate constants for all other compounds are less than the oxygen rate constant.

## Abstract The effect of hydrogen on the concentration of singlet oxygen in the a^1^Δ~g~ and b^1^Σ states, generated from a microwave discharge in O~2~ and in an O~2~/Ar mixture, was studied in flow reactors. The addition of hydrogen, in a range of 0.01–1 of concentration of the O~2~, increased th
