✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Mouse blastocysts cultured in vitro in rat serum develop through the early somitic stages of embryogenesis at the same rate as embryos cultured in human cord serum. Rat serum can thus be used instead of human cord serum for in vitro culturing of mouse embryos.
