โœฆ Synopsis


Tap water samples of 400 ~1 were added to 280 ~1 of matrix-modifying solution consisting of hydrochloric acid, calcimn chloride, mercu&II), ethanol, Triton X-100 and bismuth(IIIJ as internal standard and contained in disposable 2-ml Eppendorff sample tubes. The mixture was analysed for copper(B) and lead(B) using a.commercial computerized potentiometric stripping analyser in combination with a laboratory-made electrode system and rotating sample holder. Copper(B) in the range 0.10-5 mg 1-l was determined in less than 1 min and lead(B) in the range l-50 pg 1-t in 3 min, the precisions being ca. 15%.
