✦ Synopsis

RAPADILINO is an acronym for a rarely described multimalformation syndrome with radial ray, absent or hypoplastic patellae, diarrhea which usually improves with age, skeletal abnormalities including segmental vertebral deformities and dislocations, and short stature (little size) with normal intelligence. The face is dysmorphic with a long thin nose and the palate is high or cleft. Hematologic studies have been normal. Recurrence in one pair of siblings suggests it is most likely inherited as an autosomal-recessive trait. Kaariainen et al. ('89) first reported 5 cases of this syndrome, and a further case was added by Vargas et al. ('92). We present the seventh reported case.

We describe a growth-retarded newborn infant with craniosynostosis, microcephaly, hydrancephaly, oligodactyly, humero-radial synostosis, and normal chromosomes. The combination of anomalies has hitherto been unreported and we consider this to be a "new" syndrome.

We describe a father and his son with bilateral absence of radius and thumb. Both have short stature, external ear malformation, and renal anomaly. In the son a high frequency of chromosome breaks in lymphocytes was found. We compare this familial syndrome to Fanconi anemia and other radial ray apl

We report on a patient with craniosynostosis, left radius aplasia, right radius hypoplasia, and other congenital anomalies. This is the 11th reported case of the Baller-Gerold syndrome. Autosomal recessive inheritance of this syndrome is suggested by evidence of probable parental consanguinity.

## Abstract We present two unrelated male infants with strikingly similar clinical features which have not previously been reported together. The most unusual feature was the presence of multiple small capillary malformations (port‐wine stains) on the skin from birth. Both infants had intractable s
