✦ Synopsis

We review various narrow-band range-Doppler imaging methods that have been proposed for radar and highlight the difficulties in their implementation and their limitations. We also present two new imaging schemes. The first involves the transmission of multiplexed chirps, and the second involves simple frequency division multiplexing. The second approach seems to yield the most promising range-Doppler imaging methods.

## Abstract Doppler ultrasound is an adjunct to other imaging modalities in differentiating benign from malignant breast tumors. Two groups of patients with breast nodules were examined using a 10/4.5 MHz (imaging frequency/pulsed Doppler frequency) image‐directed Doppler probe and a 7.0/5.0 MHz co

## Abstract __Background.__ Conventional techniques of laryngoscopy for vocal cord palsy can sometimes be difficult or impossible to perform, and B‐mode real‐time ultrasonography has been previously reported by the authors to be helpful in these situations. In some cases, however, B‐mode ultrasonog
