Book Reviews

In summary, I recommend that this book be used for a graduate course on optimal control, and as a reference by practising engineers. The authors present the major results in tables, which makes the book a good reference source. The clarity of the graphical illustrations is very good compared to the first edition, though some typographical mistakes have crept in. The coverage of the references is exhaustive, and the indexing is good.
