โฆ Synopsis
h this paper the random finite element method is derived for structural response analysis under stochastic load actions. The random processes of load actions are treated as random sequences and the random variables are expanded based on the second-order perturbation equations. The statistical properties 01' structural responses are solved by deterministic finite element analysis The accuracy of the method is demonstrated by the numerical examples on SDOF systems and the efficiency is illustrated by the analysis of a MDOF guyed-tower.
