✦ Synopsis

The Raman spectra of polycrystalline were investigated in the range 300-450 K. An RbH(SO 4 ) 0.81 (SeO 4 ) 0.19 assignment of bands due to internal and external vibrations in terms of approximate types of motions is proposed. The spectral data are used for discussing the nature of structural disorder phase transitions and to determine the activation energy. The activation energy is of the same order of magnitude as that estimated from conductivity measurements.
