✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The Raman spectrum of a single crystal of monoclinic B‐type (C) gadolinium sesquioxide is presented. The low temperature polarization studies allowed the unambiguous attribution of 20 among the 21 normal modes expected according to the C~2__h__~ factor group analysis predictions.
📜 SIMILAR VOLUMES
A set of polarized Raman spectra obtained from suitable hesamethylbenzene single crystals at room temperature is presented. AU the observed frequencies are attributed to intramolecular vibrations or lattice modes on the basis of dear polarization data.
