✦ Synopsis

The pressure dependence of the reoricntational correlation function for chiorofoti has been measured by analysis of the Rnman 3019 cm-' AI C-H stretching lincshnpc at 1, 1000, and 2000 bar and 23°C. These reorieniational correlation functions were obtained using the method of spectral Fourier deconvojution introduced by Bratas: The results are comp.xed to the correlation times obtained from the NMR deutcron T1 relaxation times forCDCI3 and those calculated from high pressureviscosity measurements.
