Polarized Raman spectra measured on single crystals of are presented for the รrst time. An assign-Bi 2 (MoO 4 ) 3 ment of the observed peaks is performed on the basis of calculated vibrational modes of a representative cluster composed of three and two The analysis of the Raman spectra shows that in the MoO 4 BiO 8 .
