Abstract
The paper highlights our experience of more than four decades of research gained and expertise attained in the production of various radiolabelled compounds. An active programme for the production of various classes of compounds labelled with radioisotopes like ^14^C, ^3^H, ^35^S, ^32^P, ^33^P and ^125^I by wellβstandardized procedures is going on in the country. Recent trends show an increasing demand for the customβsynthesis of various labelled compounds, especially those labelled with ^14^C. Copyright Β© 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
