✦ Synopsis
As a method for measurement of unwanted radiation power from a portable terminal, a radiation power measurement method using a compact shield box is proposed. In this article, measurement of the equipment to be tested is carried out in this compact shield box. It is confirmed that random electric field distributions can be formed by tilting the device to be measured so that the effect of the directivity can be reduced in the radiation power measurement. Also, measurement is carried out with a model of a hand-held terminal. It is confirmed that the radiation power measurement with a reduced radiation directivity effect is possible by tilting both the transmitting and receiving antennas at 45°.
