✦ Synopsis

Cal&n-n pyrophosphate (Ca,P,O,) powder prepared from thulium nitrate aqueous solutions exhibited thermoluminescence with X-ray and y-ray irradiation. The thermoluminescence was enhanced about 100 times by adding ca 7 WC% Tm to Ca,P,O, as a dopant. It was suggested from thermal and optical fadings observed that there were shallow hole and electron traps on Tm-doped Ca,P,O, powder surface.
