โฆ Synopsis
The theoretical model of exhaust gases radiation induced oxidation was developed. NO, SO 2 and H 2 S concentrations curves vs dose calculated by use of this model for mixtures containing N 2 (80.5%), 02 (11%), H20 (8.4%), NO (100~500ppm), SO 2 (150-500ppm) and H2S (300-1000ppm) have been obtained. It has been shown that NO and SO 2 conversion reactions with acids formation go simultaneously with oxidizing reaction of H2S giving SO 2 as an intermediate substance. These processes were evaluated for different initial concentrations of NO, SO 2 and H2S. Data established by our simulation calculations show that the electron beam process can be judged as a promising technology for simultaneous removal of SO2, NO and H 2 S from exhaust gases.
