## Abstract Formulations of chemically crosslinked and radiation‐crosslinked low‐density polyethylene (LDPE) containing an intumescent flame retardant such as ammonium polyphosphate were prepared. The influence of blending LDPE with poly(ethylene vinyl acetate) (EVA) as well as the effects of a coa
