โฆ Synopsis
The radiation characteristics of a Ku-band parabolic cylindrical offset reflector antenna is analyzed. The reflector antenna is fed by an offset linear microstiip patch array. The uariation of far-field pattern and gain with offset feed angle is calculated and confined by an experiment. It is obsemed that the gain increases with decreasing offset angle of the feed. 7he result is useful in designing an offset cylindrical reflector antenna for a low-cost satellite Wreceiuing system. 0 I996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
