โœฆ Synopsis

This patent describes a gasket for an alkaline dry cell which is injection moulded in 6-12 nylon, and is designed to inhibit crack formation occurring when a collector is inserted through the central boss. The problem is overcome by using recycled polyhexamethylene dodecamide resin, which has previously undergone injection moulding, as part or the whole of the resin material for the section containing the boss on the gasket.
