Mystic Meadows has another murder on its hands.
Autumn, a Mystic Meadows witch, has a chaotic life. Her wildlife rescue has been growing, and so have the vet bills. She spends every penny she earns and every spare moment feeding and caring for the animals she loves.
While sheβs picking up two baby raccoons who lost their mama, she witnesses an argument between two men. When one of those men disappears, even Simon, her raven familiar, believes the other man mightβve been responsible. After they find one man dead, she finds the other sick in his motel room and wonders if something darker is going on.
As the rescueβs residents multiply, Autumn tries to balance working, a struggling romance, and puzzling out the mystery of why people in her motel are dying. And who might be next.
