✦ Synopsis

A formulation offl-matrix theory based on analytic basis set expansions of the internal wavefunction is presented which lk several advantages over the more conventional approkh.

Integral evaluation is simple even for dia:omic molecules, the R-matrix boundary condition is incorporated into the hxniltonian not the basis functions and singecenter expansions are eliminated for nonspherical targets. Results for electron-He scattering are presented and compared with Other cakulations to illustrate the technique.
