In this research, the variational iteration method is applied to a nonlinear oscillator arising in textile engineering. The frequencies in vertical and horizontal directions are obtained and the condition for resonance is also revealed.
A nonlinear dynamic model is proposed for the rotor-spun composite yarn spinning process. The position of a convergent point and the section area can be easily determined using the proposed model. Trajectories and phase diagrams can be obtained for different spinning parameters.
A two-spin cluster effective field theory for the Blume-Capel model with arbitrary spin S is presented by making use of exact spin identities and taking advantage of the differential operator technique. The dependence of the transition temperature is studied as a function of the single-ion 3 and 2.
