A practical non-perturbative approach is precented for nrultiphoton iimiTation of atoms induced by circularly polarized radiation. l3y use of co-ordinate rotation transformation and I_.*-dwxctization of the atomic continuum, the complex energy spectrum of a stationary quasienergy operator c;ln be loc;lted and multiphoton iorlization rates determmed BF ;1 function of time and arbitrary photon intensity. The theory is npplicd to the two-photon ionization of the ki atom in intense fields.
