✦ Synopsis
The absolute quantum yield of the photosensitized luminescence from lag 0 2 has been measured in air-saturated solutions of tetraphenylporphin in CC14, the value (4.4 + 1.3) X 10 -3 being obtaified. The radiative lifetime of lAg O 2 is approximately constant in all solvents investigated and is 4.1 -+ 2 s.
