The analytical transfer matrix method (ATMM) is efficient and accurate for understanding the nature of bound states. In this paper, it is applied to obtain the binding energy of a hydrogenic impurity placed at the center of the spherical quantum dots (QDs) in an intense laser field. Our results agre
