Ahstraet-An exact solution of the Schr&linger equation for a hydrogen-like atom near a hard wall given by us previously [Kovalenko et al., Phys. Status SOW (B) 155, 549 (198911 is used for an investigation of the discrete electronic spectrum, the atom dipole moment and oscillator strengths dependent on the distance from the wall. A hydrogen-like molecule near a hard wall is considered in the framework of the He&r-London method.
