✦ Synopsis


Results of quantum mechanical calculations of the spectral line widths, shifts, and line mixing parameters for the depolarized Raman spectrum of D 2 infinitely diluted in He are presented. An accurate ab initio H2-He potential was used for the converged close-coupling calculations. The predicted trends for the D2-He mixture agree reasonably well with measurements in pure D2.
