✦ Synopsis

Hopfield model with a random transverse field and a random neuronal threshold is investigated by use of the stalistical physics method. The Trotter decomposition is used to reduce the problem to that of an equivalent classical random Isilg model. Phase transitions between the retrieval phase and the paramagnetic phase are obtained, and the influence of competition between the quantum fluctuations and the random threshold on the possibility of the existence of the ordered retrieval phase of the network is considered.
