In trying to understand the atom, physicists built quantum mechanics and found, to their embarrassment, that their theory intimately connects consciousness with the physical world. Quantum Enigma explores what that implies and why some founders of the theory became the foremost objectors to it. Auth

β¦ Synopsis
This book presents an excellent, relatively simple, explanation of quantum mechanics for the layperson. It explores the implications of Einstein's "spooky action at a distance" without wandering too far into mysticism. If you are interested in the possibilities of a "conscious universe" but turned-off by the idea of "manifesting your own reality", this is a book that you will enjoy. Half-way between Richard Dawkin's bleak arrogance and an angel on your shoulder...highly recommended!
