We present investigations on the electronic structure of electron doped Nd2-x-CexCuO4\_fi and Srl\_xNdxCuO2-8 (infinite layer compound) as well as hole doped Ndl.4Ce0.2Sr0.4CuO4\_sby means of photoelectron spectroscopy and auxiliary measurements. The CuO-layers of electron type HTSC exhibit a compar
