✦ Synopsis
New Pork 'The operations were performed on embryos in Harrison's stage 27. 'The larvae of A. punctatum begin feeding at approximately stage 46. I n these experiments the embryos of A. jeffersonianum were used and the larvae began to feed at a developmental period comparable in many respects to stage 44 of A. punctatum. ' I am indebted to Prof. Herbert Elftman for subjecting the data to a statistical analysis and for computing the standard error.
