✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A method for quantitative determination of residual silanol groups on the surface of reversed‐phase sorbents with the aid of microcolumn chromatography has bee developed. This method is based on the linear dependence of retention coefficients of phenol and benzyl alcohol on the surface concentration of silanol groups for reversed‐phase sorbents. Some commercial reverse‐phase sorbents were characterized.
