To obtain equilibrium and kinetic constants of a protein/peptide complex, we have developed a rapid procedure which uses peptides specifically linked to a resin. is established in our department for several sequencing projects on archaeal genes and operons. It is of general applicability for sequencing nonradioactively with DIG by primer walking strategies without the disadvantage of the high expense for DIG-labeled primers.
