The Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Regulations, the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines and the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Regulations are often referred to collectively as the GxPs, with the roles of the QA units associated with each function seen as equivocal. This paper looks at the different ways in which these groups operate, to whom they act as 'supplier' and 'client', and looks at the way these groups may operate in the future.
