## Abstract A novel fiber Bragg grating (FBG) tilt sensor is proposed to detect the magnitude and the direction of a twoโ€dimensional inclination by using four FBGs. High angle sensitivity and measurement resolution have been achieved, and the temperature effect has been eliminated completely withou

## Abstract A cantilever beam and fiber Bragg grating are used to measure acceleration. The output signal is insensitive to temperature variations from โˆ’20ยฐC to 40ยฐC, and the output signal fluctuates less than 5% without any temperature compensation schemes. For the experimental system, a linear ou
