STATOIL GETS CLOSER TO PERTAMINA

The Indonesian national oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) and Statoil ASA have signed a memorandum of understanding to analyse and pursue joint exploration and production business opportunities, initially in Indonesia and then potentially in other countries.

Pertamina and Statoil will establish a steering committee that will be co-chaired by senior executives from both companies.
