A construction worker in front of the Orentat Plaza construction site in central Beijing. The $1.5 billion complex is the size of fi~e football fields and wilt include stores, housing and offices_ pump fitted with a cutting device and intended to be used for pumping liquids containing Iongfibred material. The pumps are equipped with Auto-Clutch, a friction clutch which is designed to prevent damage to the pumps shafts and seals caused by a sudden stop of the impeller. Another unit supplied, the M 3127.170, is a submersible grinder pump designed for pumping waste containing solids. The grinder assembly at the inlet of the pump reduced the solids to a fine slurry so the pump can then be used in a compact configuration with small bore discharge pipe systems.
