The folIowing steroides : -3a-hydroxy 20-0x0 (5p) pregnane 16-3H -3a, I7a-dihydroxy 20-0x0 (51) pregnane 16-3H -3a, 17a, 20B-trihydroxy (51) pregnane 16-3H -3a-hydroxy 17-0x0 (5g) androstane and corresponding acetates are provided by few-step synthesis f r o m 3a-acetoxy 20-0x0 (Sg) pregna 14-ene. Eficiency f o r tritium is good and the tested radiochemical purity highly satisfactory.
