modell von Cyclopropan Die Wasserstoff-und die Halogenbrückenbindung sind ähnlich, so daß die Komplexe B•••HCl und B•••ClF für B = Cyclopropan isostrukturell sind. Sofern es aufgrund der Komplexsymmetrie möglich ist, kann eine Wasserstoffbrückenbindung signifikant von der Linearität abweichen; bei einer Halogenbrückenbindung dagegen scheint das nicht der Fall zu sein, wie für B = Thiiran gezeigt ist.
