✦ Synopsis
It is argued that proximity effects between singlet (S) and triplet (T) superconductors are qualitatively different from S-S proximity effects, and that this permits an experimental test of the spin-pairing state of a given superconductor. The applicability of these results to the study of heavy fermion superconductivity is discussed.
